Participation of the Mutation Fest expo

In the added document, I added two options to show at Mutation Fest. I work on how our ideas of womanhood are artificially created through different media and technology throughout time. I mix presentations from different times with each other to make my own interpretation of these. More info on my practice and the works is in the attached document.

Egg Girl (2026) bestaat uit twee opgespannen canvassen. Het linkse paneel is geschilderd in flou-olieverf en gebaseerd op een uitgerekt beeld van de beruchte dragqueen Divine, waarbij het groene patroon en de rode riem verwijzen naar de slang uit het zondevalverhaal. Het rechtse paneel is opgebouwd uit met lak verlijmde papierlagen. Divine, een jaren-80-icoon bekend om transgressieve rollen en de titel ‘The Filthiest Alive’, vormt de inspiratie voor het werk. De twee luiken reflecteren op de artificiële constructie van vrouwelijkheid, transgressieve vrouwelijkheid als tegenreactie.
