Wave art with computational liquid dynamics and GLSL shaders
Rendered loops of GLSL shaders based on liquid dynamics mathematics
Nove engages with (Algo)Rhythm by translating fluid dynamics into immersive digital art. Using GLSL shaders, mathematics and creative coding, algorithms generate high-resolution, hypnotic wave visuals. These digital loops are live rendered and modulated by modular synthesizers during ambient electronic sets. A GLSL shader (OpenGL Shading Language) is code that tells the graphic processor how to calculate and display pixels, including colours, lights, shadows and visual effects. It allows graphics to be processed efficiently and scaled to different screen sizes and resolutions while maintaining good performance. AI is used as a tool to create the GLSL wave code.
